  2. We kept checking through the weekend and happened to log on as we celebrated Steve's Dad's birthday this afternoon (which is actually 3/6!) They are precious! Was there a surprise - 8 pups??

    Thanks for the pictures!

  3. Someone other than me lined them all up perfectly. (Usually my job) Makes it easy for us to get to know them. Is that big fat silver
one a boy? He a bruiser with big attitude. Grabs center stage and tries to get even bigger by strecthng out his legs. That orange girl looks just like Katherine. Kim was an orange girl too so thats a good choice. The black collared male on the left is also nice, very mellow. His bro's are all in his space and he's fine with that Send the details when you recover. Oh, and enough with the "blackberry" crapola, you're not fooling us!

    Yours,

    Lady Ba Ba

  7. it's been a very crazy 48 hours and I have yet to go to bed :) I am happy to report that
Emma had her puppies last night into this morning! There are 8 healthy beautiful little squeakers - 4 girls and 4 boys, a great mix! And the first girl out gets to have a birthday all to herself as she was the only one born on Saturday! We have been busy taking care of Emma and her new babies today, and I am finally going to crash out while Emma does the
same! I'll keep you posted in the coming weeks as they get bigger!

  12. Congrats on the new arrivals! They are beautiful puppies and I love when the litters are an even split:-) It is always great to have new breeders join the Chinook community. Congrats to Wendy on her first Chinook litter at Riverstone and an extra pat to Emma and Booker for a job well done.

Congratulations!!! Emma certainly looks exhausted, and I can imagine she's not the only one. But looking at those beautiful pups must make it all worth it!

  19. Okay, breakdown of colors: the girls are the pink, lavender, orange and yellow; the boys are the royal, light blue, green and black. No names yet (well, not that I'm sharing :) I'm waiting to see what their personalities show first :) so for now they're their colors' names hehe

  20. I mostly refer to them all as Fatso's. :) Wendy says at day 4 they are all over the one lb mark with Big Fatso, aka the Silverback Gorrilla, at 1 lb 6.5 oz!

  21. ...and they get bigger and bigger! I can't believe how fast they are growing - with the silver already at 1 lb 9 oz!! They're whole faces change too - it's just amazing for me to watch them grow, and to see what a wonderful mommy Emma is! I feel to very lucky to be a part of this :) Will try to get more pics this weekend... as they near the 1 week mark!!

  22. The photo of "orange" cuddled up on Emma's muzzle is too adorable. Emma looks exhausted and happy. Congratulations on your nice, healthy litter. What a way to start Spring! : )

  23. BTW, the photo of the 8 pups above was not posed. They arranged themselves at the milk bar. From birth they have been a well behaved, food motivated puppy pack and are likely to excel at performance events. :))) Notice who took center stage?
